01. Overview
This policy describes how Fabrik Labs("we", "us") handles information collected through fabriklabs.ai and its subdomains (the "site"). It applies to the marketing site, the research archive, and the early-access waitlist. It does not yet cover the Fabrik product itself, which is pre-launch.
We've designed the site to collect as little personal information as possible. We do not run cookies or browser-storage based analytics; we do not sell or share personal information with advertisers; we do not track you across third-party sites.
02. Information we collect
The site collects only the following data:
- Email address — when you join the waitlist. Stored in InstantDB along with the timestamp of signup.
- Anonymous event data — page views, referrer, UTM parameters, approximate location (country / city inferred from IP), device and browser type, and interaction events (clicks, research-paper opens, waitlist submits). Captured by PostHog in cookieless mode: no cookies, no localStorage, no cross-session identifier.
- reCAPTCHA bot signals — when you submit the waitlist form, a Google reCAPTCHA v3 score is generated for that submission to prevent abuse. Google may collect hardware, software, and behavioral data to compute that score; see Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
- Error reports — if the site crashes, PostHog captures the stack trace (no email or other PII is attached unless explicitly logged).
03. How we use this data
We use the data above only to:
- Operate the early-access waitlist.
- Send you launch and product updates related to Fabrik. You can unsubscribe from these at any time.
- Measure aggregate site usage so we can improve our content and acquisition channels.
- Prevent abuse of the waitlist form.
- Diagnose and fix errors that affect site reliability.
We do not sell or share personal information with advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties for their own marketing.
04. Third-party processors
We rely on three processors to operate the site:
- PostHog — product analytics, configured in cookieless mode. Servers in the United States. See PostHog's privacy policy.
- Google reCAPTCHA v3— bot prevention on the waitlist form. Use of reCAPTCHA is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
- InstantDB — stores your waitlist email and signup timestamp.
We do not transfer information to other third parties.
05. Cookies and similar technologies
We do not set cookies or use localStorage for analytics. PostHog is configured in cookieless mode; sessions live only for the duration of the current tab and no identifier is persisted to your device.
Because we do not store identifiers, we automatically honor browser Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals and any other opt-out mechanism — there is nothing to opt out of.
Google reCAPTCHA may set its own cookies on its domain when the script loads. Those cookies are governed by Google's policies, linked above.
06. Your rights
Regardless of where you live, you can ask us to:
- Confirm whether we have your email and provide a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Correct or update your information.
- Delete your information (we will remove your email from the waitlist within 30 days).
- Opt out of any future communications.
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@fabriklabs.ai. If you're in the EU, EEA, UK, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA; the above process covers all of them.
07. Data retention
Waitlist emails are retained until we launch the product plus 12 months, or until you ask us to delete the record, whichever comes first. Anonymous PostHog event data is retained per PostHog's default rolling-window policy.
08. Children
The site is not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us their information, email contact@fabriklabs.ai and we will delete it.
09. Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy as the product and the site evolve. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance.
10. Contact
